SKF 75th Anniversary Ball Bearing Clock Paperweight, 1982.
This is a 75th anniversary of the Swedish Company SKF manufacturer of bearings, clock made in 1982. The clock spins in all directions. I cannot get the clock itself to work, I even found the battery it needs, which I will include, but it needs repairs to keep time.

Classic rod end failures occur approximately 15-20 degrees below the 3-9 o'clock position.

When the bearing will drop halfway into the enlarged hole with thumb pressure, you're ready to seat it. Use an anvil large enough to cover the race, or tap it into place with the edges only. That will give you a nice, tight fit. For the main wheels, I use the #3 bearing and reduce the pivot size by a couple of thou until it fits in.
